What to post and what to leave behind? When is breadth a necessary component of presentation and when, in the final analysis, does hard pruning present an incomplete, even inaccurate representation the artist?
Always most engaged with explorations of the moment, much of my large body of work done in years past has yet to be posted. Some works were exhibited, others not. Some are in my possession, others have found homes in private or public collections.
This new REVISITATIONS visual blog will be a place to periodically offer new presentations of past works. Not a chronological cataloging, these postings will have their own impulse and intent. The Sophrin Archives, my first website, now functions as a repository for works prior to 2016; some images posted on REVISITATIONS will be linked to the Archives site; others will be posted here on this Art & Life website.
Each image below links to a page of related works. Remember, images and underlined text are almost always a link to further materials!
