Living on the edge
walking down the street
How can we help
asks the sign as
shards of strewn glass
glimmer insidiously
shimmer and crunch
if you don’t watch out
reflecting
refuse
diffuse
debris mixed with dull dried mud
spread like foul butter
on this slice
